What is the Cosmic Fileserver?    Part I

What is the Cosmic Fileserver?
By Mick Lang, C.S.B.

It is an almost comical term that describes a homegrown theory on the mind.   This theory ties up the loose ends that mainstream science refuses to touch:

•  Many of the world's inhabitants have seen ghosts.

•  An enormous percentage of the human race has experienced déjà vu and other precognizant glimpses into the future.

•  Many people had past memories of distant lands that they previously have never seen.

The Cosmic Fileserver (CFS) theory explains in greater simplicity subjects such as reincarnation, memories of the past and glimpses into the future.   It will provide insight into discovery, mind reading, amnesia and learning.

The CFS theory is just that:

the·o·ry n

1.    The body of rules, ideas, principles, and techniques that applies to a particular subject, especially when seen as distinct from actual practice

2.    Abstract thought or contemplation

3.    An idea of or belief about something arrived at through speculation or conjecture

4.     A set of circumstances or principles that is hypothetical

5.     A set of facts, propositions, or principles analyzed in their relation to one another and used, especially in science, to explain phenomena

We will expound on each of the above descriptions for these ideas.

The crux of this idea, is the supposition that the majority of man's knowledge does not exist inside the head; the brain isn't entirely a storage area of information, but more an antenna or conduit to a speculative location where memories and knowledge are kept.   When you die, you end your account on the server, but the information is not lost.
